Reading Your Season

The same season can be read two ways. Tick the assumptions you have been living with, then the reading Scripture offers instead.

What you call stagnation, God may call preparation.

Chapter 1

Two readings

How am I naming this season?

Without a Framework, Believers Assume

  • Silence means distance
  • Delay means failure
  • Obscurity means irrelevance
  • Difficulty means misalignment

Scripture's Interpretation

  • What feels like slowdown is preparation
  • What feels like silence is formation
  • What feels like delay is development
  • What feels like the end of growth is a different kind of growth

The season is the same. The interpretation is everything. · Chapter 1

Two trajectories

Stuck, or being formed?

Stagnation Produces

  • Disengagement
  • Apathy
  • Drift

Formation Produces

  • Deeper reflection
  • Increased sensitivity
  • Growing stability

The external signs may look similar. The internal trajectory is not. · Chapter 13

Reflect

What is God forming in me right now?

What God may be forming in me

One way I will cooperate with Him this week
